These deficits impact their academic performance, behavior, and social relationships. I recommend reading the chapter on ADHD in the book <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3Ces1jC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Neurodevelopmental Disorders<\/a>, published by Elsevier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this context, physical exercise has emerged as a promising non-pharmacological alternative. Groundbreaking, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A recent study titled \u201c<em>Effect of vigorous-intensity exercise on the working memory and inhibitory control among children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: a systematic review and meta-analysis<\/em>\u201d (Zhang &amp; Li, 2025), published in the <strong>Italian Journal of Pediatrics<\/strong>, presents a systematic review and meta-analysis that reinforces the value of <strong>vigorous exercise<\/strong> as a therapeutic tool for this population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Think about it \u2014 so many complex techniques, when simply moving like a child, intensely, could actually help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd0d What does the study offer?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meta-analysis reviewed <strong>10 randomized clinical trials<\/strong>, involving <strong>more than 500 children with ADHD<\/strong>, and evaluated the effects of vigorous-intensity exercise on <strong>working memory<\/strong>, <strong>inhibitory control<\/strong>, <strong>overall cognition<\/strong>, <strong>body mass index (BMI)<\/strong>, and <strong>motor capacity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2714\ufe0f Key findings:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\ud83e\udde0 <strong>Significant improvement in working memory<\/strong> with vigorous-intensity exercise (p &lt;
