Coming from a purely neurological background, transitioning into broader neurodevelopmental disorders left me feeling like I lacked the integrative foundations necessary to ground my daily practice. This training completely transformed that. Paediatric physiotherapy has evolved immensely, and PIMT provides the comprehensive framework needed to stay ahead, help these children effectively, and truly guide their families. To do this, you need to be well-trained; it’s a very comprehensive course. Communication, which may not seem important, is crucial—it’s essential to know how to convey information and be prepared.

The communication module alone is worth it—knowing how to convey complex clinical details to parents is crucial. Today, I seamlessly incorporate the PIMT framework into my practice. It has completely changed how I assess motor development and posture through the lens of the ICF. Even when working in natural environments, it allows me to design brilliant functional activities—like tracking and gaze stabilisation circuits while a child is swinging, targeting the vestibulo-ocular and symmetrical tonic circuits simultaneously. It forces you to think deeply about the sensorimotor, proprioceptive, and tactile systems during play. The history-taking protocols are precise, brief, and crystal clear. I highly recommend this training to anyone in paediatrics; it is a phenomenal investment.”

I think it’s a very comprehensive course for being only one year long. The platform with the videos is very well organized and makes learning much easier. Personally, it has opened up a whole new world for me: the complexity of pediatrics. In addition, the summary poster they gave us is very useful for getting my bearings and reviewing the main topics.I also greatly appreciate the flexibility they offer in allowing you to catch up on classes in other locations if you can’t attend a session. The instructors are very attentive, and you can tell that many people are looking out for us, which makes you feel supported throughout the course.

Perhaps the only thing I’m not entirely convinced about is the possibility of the platform closing or not being able to keep the videos indefinitely. I think it’s important to be able to rewatch the recordings, especially those showing the reactions of babies and children in “normal” and “pathological” situations, as they are a great support for reinforcing both the theory and the practice.

I thoroughly enjoyed the training; it changed the way I approach my patients, and I gained essential knowledge and techniques.
It provided me with tools to bring order to my assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment.
It also provided me with visual content and strategies to share with my patients.
I believe this training is essential for anyone who works or wants to work with children and babies, but especially for those passionate about manual therapy. It’s a comprehensive training program that adds to and complements your existing knowledge and challenges you to question the whys and wherefores!
